Welcome to the Flanders Fire Deptartment's website!

Since 1946 the Flanders Fire Department has provided service to the Village of Flanders - part of the Town of East Lyme - in South Eastern Connecticut.

This site has been created to provide you with information about the department - who we are, our history, how we are organized, and the apparatus we use.

The site also has photos showing some of the training that we participate in to ensure we are ready to respond to any incidents which may occur in the town, as well as photos from some of the scenes the department has responded to.

As with most departments, we have both paid and volunteer members.  We are always looking for new members, and so we have also provided information to help you learn more about how to join the department as a volunteer, including a link to the Volunteer Application form.
